Check it out. It's like a cross between Dawn of the Dead, Mad Max, and the Matrix. Looks kinda cool.

^^ While I've enjoyed the RE movies, If they followed ONE of the storylines it would a much better movie. RE4 would be a sick ass movie.

Yes it would. It had a great plot. But I think a lot of the RE game plots are good. I too wish they would follow on of those.

It did suck. I didn't like it at all. Though it was a Zombie movie so of course I had to see at least once. I'll see RE3 also. I hope it doesn't suck as bad as the last one. They need to ditch all the over the top genetically enhanced BS and do something like RE4.

Jill Valentine was EXTREMELY hot, it had zombies, a good scene at the church, fighting, the Licker, the Nemesis.
I guess it's just me.

Same here. Just saw Ghost Rider today, and I knew it was RE when it went to outer space and showed the satelites (before showing the umbrella corp). It was crazy how the whole USA was desert from the outer space shot. I always have loved "what if..." movies.

I'll definitely be seeing it.

Yeah, "what if" movies have always intrigued me. I figured it out when the Video of the girl was studdering. I will be there opening night! haha.

This one looks ugh... i dunno doesnt looks interesting. I really liked the previous 2 RE. They were realistic, sorta. Zombies in the city = ftw. Zombies in the desert, wtf?!

Just to clarify when the zombie invasion comes, you will all die while mel and i live.

LOL. Yeah, zombies in the city is SO much more believable than zombies in the desert.

That said, this movie is going to be sweet. Take the rest of the crew, then add Ali Larter and Ashanti. Oh shit! The first RE is just plain classic. RE2 was alright. I don't think that the movie was disappointing in itself. I think it was disappointing after watching the trailer. They had so much cool shit happen in the trailer, like Milla running down the side of the building, then the building blowing up, then her flying off of it. But in the movie, those were three completely different scenes. That is just false advertising. Someone needs to tell these people that make the trailers not to splice different shit together that isn't that way in the movie. It just pisses me off.

Exactly. That's how I think. When I go see a movie, my expectations of it are based upon what type of movie it is and what the movie is about.

RE is just made to be entertaining with action. If you go see it expecting it to be "OH SO AWESOME!1!" then the chances of you being disappointed are waaaay higher than being satisfied.

Basically, go see it expecting it to suck :)

That's part of advertising. It's enticing you to see the movie.
It always irritates me to see scenes in trailers that are cut out of movies (like in Oceans 11 and Varsity Blues). Little insignificant shit sometimes, but still annoying.

For some movies, those scenes are put back in when they have "unrated", "director's cut" or "special edition" DVDs. I remember this with LOTR where the trailer had one scene that was not at theaters, yet the SE DVD included it seamlessly.
