S14 wallpaper

Well Im just learning how to use photoshop. So if anyone can give me some pointers that would be great. So tell me what you think of my seconed photoshop creation (first was my sig).

pretty cool......but the picture of the guage cluster has something missing.....the speedometer needs to be at 115mph and the tach at about 4500rpms.....

Well that will give something else to do tomarrow.  I never thought of doing that.  I think that would make it look much better.  But there is still something missing I just dont know yet.

It's a little cluttered for a wallpaper to be honest with you. &nbsp;I think either the picture of the gauge cluster or the picture of the engine bay has to go, possibly both (the picture of the engine bay fits in the least because it has obvious borders). &nbsp;I'd play around with opacity/layer blending modes if you want to keep the gauge cluster in there...

My biggest gripe is that all of your pictures run over the edges and that's something that's really supposed to be avoided in wallpapers, unless it's a close up of a person's face or something like that. &nbsp;Not bad for your second only photoshop creation though.

Awwwww. Come on, what dd you make that with. Don't tell me you made that with Adobe Photoshop and thats all you could come up with. Tsk Tsk Tsk. I'll soon be submiting some of my genius. Don't know what color the car is gong to be yet, but all in good time. Hey it's all in good fun so understrand that i'm only kidding about you wp skills, and I don't think it's to clutterd, just not fluid enough.

Thanks for the advise. But what do you mean by the edges?

And Sleek Im not from Ohio that is just where the car is from.

The pictures run over the edges of the wallpaper...you know the sides (left, right, top, bottom). &nbsp;This second one looks much much much better though.

I agree, the second one looks a lot better. Looks like you've definately got the basic techniques down. I'd reccomend purchasing a photoshop bible, they're great for learning. I've gotta get a photoshop 7 bible sometime. Mine's an outdated 5.5.

i have a bootlegged copies of just about evry big software, Adobe, Bryce, Microsoft, anything just ask, i'll hook you up, i also have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for Windows, so..... if anyones interested i sell at about $50 for anything or judging on the level of the software, like Microsoft Front Page would be about $5.

Or they could just download all that crap, downloading stuff is illegal enough, but selling bootlegged stuff is an even bigger crime. Keep it away from the forum, we don't need to be closed for something as stupid as that.
