it checks till the last time a reg or smog was reported. I am guessing your last reg or smog was 05. Its 07 which means its probably time for your next smog.

lol whats funny is that in 06 they made me smog for registration. Which im currently having a issue with since they trying to make me smog in 07. DMV's mistake.

Apparently, my car did not exist for the first 8 years/112k miles of it's life, and has only had an annual inspection 3 times in the now 10 years since, but other than that it is clean as a whistle

thank you soo much!!! i was surprised my 190e 16v showed up cuz its a grey market euro imported chassis and my insurance company couldnt pull it up..

haha gotta love the lack of driving this thing saw the few years

Now after carefully reading that printout which I had actually checked before. I knew my car was a low mileage machine its whole life and basically got dealer traded in in 2000. It then was bought by another person on credit(low mileage top dollar worthy clean ass car). Who, I think got it repoed because it wound up at a dealer auto auction in 2003. A used dealer scored it and sold it to the people I got it from who also got a loan i.e. lien. The rest of the info is them switching it between the husband and son i.e. cosigned and then finally over to the wife (payoff of loan) Then I bought it :D
Anyways in the end this is one of the cherriest chassis's I have come across in around 4-5 years.

oh ya the car had 132k when I picked it up this January. No I will not say what I paid for it.
