I know this is most likely an odd place to post this, but I wanted to see if I can get any interest before posting it on eBay.

For sale is my HP Pavilion laptop, which I purchased used (without any original software) and have been using for both work and school.

Because of this, I had to do a clean install of XP professional (VLK from work) so I can connect to the domain. I also have Office 2003 Professional, Photoshop CS2 and Macromedia Studio 8 installed on this computer.

For ascetics I have loaded WindowBlinds 5, Crystal XP Vista Inspriat icon pack and a new welcome screen.

For security, I’m using AVG Free, Zone Alarm and Ad-Aware Professional.

Here are the quick run down of the specs:

Processor – 1.79GHz AMD 64 Turion Mobile Technology ML-34
Video – ATI Radeon Xpress 200M 128MB Onboard
Sound – Onboard Conexant with Altec Lansing speakers
HDD - 80GB SATA 150
Memory - 1GB (max is 2GB)
- Media Control Buttons
- WiFi wireless a/b/g with quick connect and disconnect button
- 5-in-1 card reader
- Firewire and 3 USB ports
- S-video and VGA outputs
- Ethernet connection
- 56K Modem
- Remote control
- Headphone and microphone ports
- Vista Capable – I have installed Vista Business for test purposes and it install within an hour with no issues. Sorry, but I can not sell this computer with Vista Business.

The original combo drive had a cracked lens and the clips on the bezel were messed up (its barely intact on the pictures). Because of this, I will have to replace the drive with a standard CD-RW/DVD combo drive (pics available once I get it).

For obvious reasons, my name will be removed from the computer for anyone that buys it.

Once I get home I will put it on a scale.

The screen size is 15.4" Widescreen running 1280x800 resolution.

*** sale pending ***

Nothing, other than I have to replace the original CD drive (which I have on order)...with other model. So it will be CD-RW/DVD ROM vs CD-RW/DVD-RW, I stated the reason in bold on my first post.

Thanks for the comment ki_JDM_ds...it is indeed a reliable laptop.
