i had a 95 se obd1 5pd that got wrecked, and im planning to get my hands on a 96 obd2 automatic car, after i get a 96 5 spd ecu to match the 96 car, will i be able to use my 95's tranny on the 96? or will i have to get a 96 tranny, basically my question is that is there any difference between a 95 spd ka tranny and a 96? because of obd2?, i would think there are are different connections and more wires on the obd2 car? so can i use my 95 tranny on a 96 car/motor/5spd ecu?
Thx.

Once again, for the people who miss the weekly post.
ALL 89-98 KA TRANSMISSIONS ARE THE SAME.
The only differences are the change in VSS between 13/14, the addition of the CPS on S14s, and the added 4th postion switch on S13 DEs. Everything else is identical.

do i have to make wire any new connections, do the differences make it any harder to hook up? whats the VSS? and CPS?

^ Thank you.
To make it clear to the glue huffers, all 95-98 manual transmissions are identical. There is nothing, not even a stamp on the case, that differs. The changes in switchgear are between chassis. Oddly enough I thought I covered that above.
