forza showdown on speed channel

its on right now on the speed channel, i think its interesting....its based on a xbox 360 game..

"amateur" drivers get to drive on cars that they've never driven and they get to race on it..(oval track, autox, drag,...and more racing...)

ken gushi is on it!

cars on this episode: 2007 corvette z06, 350z, 06 mustang gt, late 60's (forgot the year) camaro and firebird, and i think another 350z

host of the show is driving the upcoming camaro

the companies (that provided the car) also need to upgrade the cars before the next challenge

I think its a crazy reality idea. I know Gushi will win the drift competition. What sucks is that they all suck at drag racing. The kid in the Vette was posting some shitty times. I mean come on 13.XX in a C6 Z06 that is a 12.1 second quarter car. It truly does prove that the driver is a big equation in racing.

Yeah I love them..but this is different. It revolves around Forza..gotta look at it from that aspect. I know what you mean now but don't think it's the same to compare.

I thought it was pretty entertaining. Poor Gushi had no power, but drove like a man. The game looks cool. Show is on my DVR list.

Drag racing isn't so easy when you've never driven the car ever before.

Also this was done on a budget supplied by a small game development company. Of course it cant compare to Top Gear lol they have more money in one episode than will be spent on the entire series of this show. I think the show had good pacing, plenty of drama, lots of interesting footage (driveshaft exploding through the car was awesome.). I give it a thumbs up.

When they opened the hood you could see what looked like a Procharger.

Gushi's z had to have had issues as well, thing was only putting down 89mph on the 1/4! A z should put down 95-98mph. Trap speed doesnt matter much with traction so I dont wanna hear that card. One the mph's was 122 and that was from the o3 car, whatever the f it was beside flat black. That should mean a high 11 second run
