Amber gauge cluster on an S14...

hey there,
i was wondering if anyone knew or has tried to turn their cluster amber colored. I found some write ups on how to do it for hondas, im pretty sure it might be the same thing or very similar. any input would be helpful.lmk.thanks.

the gauge cluster uses 3 194 bulb. just replace them.

ill post up some pics when i also do the ac unit. which reminds me..does anyone know how to take out the center console where the ac and vent things are..is it simply just a matter of pulling it out?

damn i just jocked ur idea...i will try this sometime during the week after i get some bulbs..haha

the AC unit bulbs are tiny bulbs, the best thing to do is buy orange glass spray paint at walmart and spray the bulb. to remove the ac controls, you pull the trim/ac vents around it off, it clips off and you will see 4 screws holding down the control unit. you have to take it all apart to get to the bulbs. there's like 4-5 bulbs IIRC.

Also since this is a related thread, my clock has been flickering on and off for a while and finally kicked the bucket. I just tried changing the bulb with other ones and it still doesnt work. Any ideas?

Even more so. What the hell is so technical about this. It's a fucking incandescent bulb. Remove old bulb and replace with new one.
