OK guys, I hope you can give me some options.
I do a lot of driving (STL to KC) and I would like cruise control.
I HAD cruise control on the KA motor. Now that I have the SR motor, it did not come with the extra pulley on the throttle body for the cruise control.
Can you pull the pulleys off of the KA TB, or do I need to find one from an SR motor.
Thanks

www.google.com, and I know for certain we've discussed it in detail more than once on here.
But that would be too obvious.

Ok so the TB are the same for both the KA and the SR?

ka is a little bigger
So, does that mean that it wont fit?
If it does fit but bigger does that mean it will have to be tuned for more air?

Jesus kid, how many spoons do you want?
KA throttle body bolts right on to the SR. It's larger, which means nothing.
All the wiring should be left intact since it's not part of the engine harness on S13s.
And you really need to get off your lazy, worthless ass and read next time. All this could have been found without creating a new thread.

I asked about it fitting because maverick said it was bigger. That could mean different things, that its physically bigger, that the spacing for the bolts are bigger, or the port is bigger. If it is a bigger port it means more are which usually changes your air/fuel mixture. Now I am not some KID. I have been working on Muscle cars for 24 years. Ususally when you change your air fuel whatever there is a little retuning involved. But, since I am new to tuners (cars with computers) that is not so obvious. This all maybe obvious to you. When I am on other sites (like for muscle cars, or computers,) I just answer them. I am not rude about it and call them a "worthless ass".

I am rude and do call people names. Get over it. If you had used your feeble little pea brain and researched it a little you wouldn't have had to come on here, post, and be belittled by me in front of God and everyone. You made your choice, deal with it.

Nope, it's huge. I just have the common intelligence that you clearly do not. Asking people a question when you can answer it yourself shows a true measure of stupidity, laziness, and most importantly ignorance. But keep it up, I'm bored.

just curious how is it that 9DSX_DRVR is rated as a "well Known Jackass" and R240NA is "Close to perfection", even though he admits to being a jackass??
Plus isn't the point of forums for people to ask questions of people who may know more than them in hopes of recieving help? It seems to me that everytime anyone asks a question on here they are made fun of and called a lazy worthless pile of crap...

You're completely wrong.
The point of a forum is to gather and store pertinent information so others later on may find it and use it for themselves. In fact, that's the entire basis behind the internet itself. In your assumption there wouldn't even be a forum, just a single page of a few questions constantly rotated daily as people ask them continuously, over and over again. Nothing would be archived because there wouldn't be a need to as some new kid is guaranteed to ask it again tomorrow. Answering it would only benefit the two people reading at that time, and the ones who missed it would just see it answered again the next day.
The newcomers to zilvia such as the OP and yourself seem to think that just because you're new to the 240SX, so is the rest of the World. That's a poor sense of thinking though since the car has been around for 18 years now with the internet not far behind, and the majority of the older members who do answer and archive information having up to 15 years experience with them. You may not have been born when the car was introduced, but a lot of people were and were already driving.
There's no need to think that anything you might want to discuss hasn't already been discussed, thoroughly, in every detail, at least two dozen times before you and laid out here and on other forums/web boards for you to easily find within seconds. Again, that's why the internet exists, to share information. If after you've read that information and still don't understand, then you take the next step to comprehend further by asking for help. I don't see why it's so hard for kids to realize that, you don't walk into a courtroom and begin practicing law without first going to school to learn what you're going to be doing, it's the same exact thing. Research first.

Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.

I can be a jackass but after I am attacked. However I do understand r240na about people asking the same questions over and over again. Most of the time when I search for a problem when I go to a post, they either don't have the exact same problem, or so many people are flamed that the question is never answered. Thats is usually when I give up. I would have to read ALL the post to find the one that is answered without the flames. I don't have alot of time, I sneek time in during the day on my breaks (some people work). When I really dont have the time (when something is broke and I need to drive it yesterday), I need an immediate answer. The other problem is not know what key word to put in the search. I can't put in a keyword if I don't know what the problem is. I am 41 years old not some kid off the street. I am a computer tech and know how to get aroung a computer or the internet so I am not stupid. I am also in the National Guard and do Miliary Funerals so my weekends are taken up. So my spare time is very short. So, exuse me if I get impatient (not lazy) if I don't want look through all the flames to find an answer.
So, let's just end this post. I got the answer to what I was looking for. When I get the time I'll put on the cruise control. I will try and take more time searching when I have the spare time. Right now I got a lot of other issues with the car I need to work on while Im am driving to work. Speaking of, my lunch break is over.
Thanks for the help on the answers.
