Not that I know of. But it is like anyother engine. If you take care of it it will take care of you.

Not very often from what I've read. They have strong internals, i.e. : forged rods, forged crank, etc. I think the only weak point of the sr might be the turbo...that's about it that I can think of...you might want some guys with sr20's to respond to this one though.

The turbo is not exactly the weak point of the SR, it's as reliable as the best turbos out there, the only problem with the turbo is that it's not exactly powerful. SRs are just as reliable as KAs though.

my SR has 84K miles on it with no oil in the intake pipes.....it is all in the turbo timer that will extend the life....my friends SR was driven by a girl that just shut the engine off without letting it cool off.....he has a light coating of oil in his pipes.....plus one thing that will kill the turbo will be running MAX boost out of it.....my boost will spike to 22 then settle back down to 18-19 psi...but this is hard on the turbo...
