new alternator,starter,spark plugs
140,000
Just replaced the aforementioned in the last two months myself, and now my check engine light went back on after I filled up my tank.
checked my ecu.
codes:
EGR malfunction
Fuel injection leak
did the fsm trouble shooting pull each injector connector and each one sputtered. egr is lifting and not sticking, engine sputters when I physically lift it myself. No visible injector leak w/o taking off. All the lines/hoses are connected. getting spark from my plugs.
Car will stall out when on a full tank or ran for a long period of time. Also when I push it to 'bout 5-6k rpm's. Then when I come to a stop it will die , or idle will fluctuate greatly.
Car has been running good latley, since I'm driving it like an old lady:faint:
Only things I think are left are the distributor cap (never replaced myself, yet)
Or the MAFS.
Only thing is the codes I got do not pertain to these two, or is it a cause and effect
I'm thinking it's something in the fuel system, or a cracked hose I can't see. What would a good test be to find a leak in a hose. I've heard of the soapy water thing, will that administer good results?
Just need other testing procedures that I may have missed. Like I said everything looks good and 'tests' right.
Sorry for the long post, just being thorough.
Thanks
