I am in the process of doing an oil change on a used s13 sr20 that i bought used and noticed some dents on the oil pan. Are these dents where the oil pickup is? Can someone please tell me if I am in good shape and can just leave it the way it is? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

the pump pickup is directly in the center of the pan. i hear everyone always saying replace the pan if there are dents in it, i guess our pumps are picky. i had a tiny dent in mine and replaced it just to be safe. you can pick one up for like eighty bucks. id rather be sure im pumping oil then wonder..

dude dont skimp and just buy a new OEM pan for 80 bucks or pick up a greddy pan for $240, theres a thread going on about greddy pans. Dont risk ur motor with a dent like that.

3.5 L of oil, 3.7L with oil filter change i believe. (on stock pan)
