This is what I have done so far. My car would randomly die. So long story short. Found mud caked in the tank. Cleaned the tank out, changed pump and fuel filter. The car wouldnt idle right. LOTS of shaking and all the symptoms of a clogged injector(s). So:
Quick question on my injectors. Mine got clogged. I have a '91 S13. So I called up Autozone to get the specs on a 94-95 Altima's injectors. The guy said they would be the same. Reason I went with them is same motor and TONS of them in a few yards here. We have no DOHC S13 in our yards, only Pignoses. So I pulled a set out of a '95 Altima. Anyways, I put them in and it solves the problem, for a the first 5-10 minutes. It goes all the way to red box without a problem. Then after I let off the throttle after intially moving, the car doesnt want to rev up. If I toss it in neutrel, it goes back to normal idle and then when I put it back in drive and give it gas, it goes back down and it wants to die. If I shut it off and start it back up, it is normal until I let off the throttle again? Never did it before when the car had mud in the tank.
Are the injectors swap-able between Altima's and DOHC S13's?
or could it be
TPS maybe? If so whats it suppose to read?
