Those glowing ones are nifty, I would wonder about their ability to withstand heavy usage though.

ive got Razos, they are clip up, but look sooo good. theyve never slipped off. i like em b/c its a little easier to heal and toe, dont have to stretch so far...

I like these Sparco ones, I think someon has these on the board. Not sure if the one in the picture has rubber on it for grip but one of em does. They are called Sparco Grip so I am assuming.

As you said you were looking for a Carbon Fiber or gunmetal... here's a Carbon Fiber pedal from Sparco.

a friend of mine bought the carbon fiber sparco pedals. they loo cool and they function very well.....they are designed so that heel toe can be done...
just my opinion but i think these are very nice pedals and worth the money.

I've been wondering about these... how well do they grip when wet?

I have not tried out the Sparco CF pedals, but I imagine when wet, they would be quite slippery. Think about it; they are lacquered and do not have the edges of the holes protruding like metal pedals do.

That's pretty much what I figured... (bad for a street car in Florida). I wish I could find something like the Mugen pedals for honda...

I'd rather not create a new thread if i could use an older relevant one......
I was wondering if standard shift pedals were universal amongst all or most Nissans, as shift knobs are.
More specifically, I was thinking about getting 350Z pedals for my 91 S13. I've seen them on a S14 and a 2001 Maxima, so could OEM Nissan pedals be interchangeable? Or are they interchangeable with slight modification/fabrication? Drilling required?
For reference...

Well, those look nice but there would be no advantage to using them over stock other than looks.

Just get any pedal set that has the accelerator pedal long and somewhat sticks out on the bottom left corner. Then install the pedals such that the brake & gas pedal are close together.
I recommend Razo, but they're expensive. I bought a set from Mr.Gasket at Kragen for $10. A knock-off of Razo. They work fine for me.
I don't know. Doesn't really seem like there's room to swing my foot on to the gas pedal. I have to step on the center of the brake pedal with the center of my foot in order to heel & toe. Much easier on an FC.

do you guys really have THAT much problem heel-toe/driving in general with stock pedals? My shoe size is 10.5 and I used to have clip on pedals, but I took them off and I can drive well without slipping all over my stock pedals. Oh yea except if my feet are wet, but thats only for a little bit until they get dry. I don't think it's a lot bigger convenience having aftermarket pedals to heel-toe shift. I'm too used to the stock gas pedal location.

don't get clip-on pedals they will slip out eventually
i have a set of razo pedals...the clips are getting loose more and more often.....i have had them for 6 months.
personally i love the 350z pedals. direct bolt-on (not for the dead pedal). impossible to get loose. and i think if you got the heel-toe skill you can do just fine with the stock size pedals

i thought all aftermarket pedals were clip ons.. cuz you cant take off the stock pedal.. unless you changed the whoole thing. *confused*

you remove the rubber covers, and drill holes in your stock pedals for the bolts that will hold your new pedals on. Bolt-on instead of clip on.
I really like these
