broken shaft :(

:wtc: well my u joint in the drive shaft broke, between the yoke and the rest of the shaft. well i took off the rest of the shaft off, but the yoke part of it is still in the tranny, its suppose to slide out right with ease? but it won't i tried hammering it out but no dice. some guy a another forum told that the spindles on the yoke might be twisted in side and won't let it come out and the yoke might be there permantly,

so i was thinking, would it be possible to change the u joint to the shaft while the yoke is still on the car? adn connect the two parts and have my car rolling again? any help appreciated :(

yea it susspose to slide out easily. i snapped my output shaft in my tranny. the shaft twisted, deformed the yoke and then it was stuck inside the tranny.

but i found an sr tranny for $200 i will just buy it and take this broken one apart and fix it, maybe even build up. or just sell it

i was burning out and and bam, the car just wouldn't roll anymore, got some badass flames also form my down pipe :)
