while i was at work today a friend of mine asked if he could go pick up some stuff i sold him, and i said yes and i'll take 20 off the price if u hook up the few vacuum lines i had left. the car did start and idle before he messed with it. i'm a total newb when it comes to vacuum diagrams and cant really figurew out where this stuff goes, it looks like he's moved a few things around and now i need to know where exactly the do go to correct it

please dont flame me

where does this end connect to

i think maybe it was somewhere down here, but the only opening i see is two fuel lines??? one for the fuel filter and one that looks like its connected to another fuel line coming from the fuel rail in the top of the pic

The last one is the fuel tank vent line. It goes to the evaporative charcoal canister mounted near the left US-driver side headlamp.

1st one is part of the EVAP/purge. I don't know how the hoses run on the S13. But, that's the valve you should look for in the FSM.

The EVAP purge is not used on S13s, it's an OBD-II device, just remove it completely and plug/cap the vacuum hose.

The charcoal canister vent line needs to be left open, do not plug it, but you can remove the hardline portion under the hood, it leads to a small section of hose just under the firewall on the passenger side framerail.

Hey, I like the zip ties holding the fuel line on.....real safe. :( Get the proper clamps for your fuel lines, they're cheap and will keep that hose from popping off and burning you to death.

And just curious but why are you letting someone touch your car that doesn't know what the hell he's doing? Do yourself a favor and download an FSM. They're free and you can look at pictures of how your engine bay should look.

Another tip, take pics BEFORE you start pulling stuff apart!! Will save you TONS of time and headaches.
