about a week ago I went to start my car and it wouldn't start. It was a VERY cold morning. I go to work, come back, and start the car and it starts right up! I thought it was weird but knew that I couldn't really do much to diagnose the prob.

SO I drive the car for a week, start it plenty of times w/ no problems. About 1 week later (today) I go to start the car (anotehr VERY cold morning) and hte ca wouldn't start. It would crank fine! but just wouldn't start. So I go to work, come back, and the car STILL doesn't start.

I sprayed some ether in the TB and the car still wouldn't start verifying that the car had fuel. I then took out a spark plug and noticed a lot of fuel in the cylinder. I got most of the fuel out but the car still doesn't start!!

Then I check for spark and I have it. SO I have fuel, spark, and I know the engine is in alright shape so what's the deal?

try unpluging the injecters and crank it over for a little bit then plug the injecters back in.

good idea!! I actually just got the car started. I took out all the plugs and let it sit for a while and evaporate. Then put them back in and it started!

My theory: is that the battery isn't poweful enough to turn the engine fast enough to start. It IS powerful enough to crank though. So I kept cranking and cranking while the engine kept giving the engine gas and it piled up in the cylinder and thus, flooding.

My friend just told me if u keep your foot depressed on the pedal that the car won't add more gas? or something like that. Is this true?
