I am keeping the SR powered 240 but I will be adding a white '94 Trans Am convertable w/ 6spd. My father in law is selling it to us dirt cheap ::he wants a vette:: The car has 84k miles and is mint. Can't wait to pick her up. He is special ordering his vette or something like that so we will get it in a couple weeks <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/inlove.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
Just wanted to share w/ fellow car enthusiasts <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
Anyone have one or have experience w/ one their opinions and to do list would be greatly appreciated

i almost bought one <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> but i needed something that will keep me out of trouble.
when i used to read the forums, making cut outs for the exhaust, and some kind of air intake trick were the popular mods to do. i also learned that camaro SS's put 300+ hp to the ground, yet GM rates them 320 at the flywheel. sneaky bastards.
hey nrcooled post some pics when you get around 2. F-bodys are an amazing car I was going to get one but once I moved down to Florida it seemed like everybody had one.

That is a real good deal. My little Brother bought In 1995 a Brand new 25th anniversary TA the white one with the Purple stripes. It came with a CD player Six Speaker Stereo system 6 speed tranny, Tan leather interior. Well To say the least He paid $40,000 for it and then he paid $1500 on several impound fees. Dumb ass. That was almost as fast as my Torino.

Glad to see you got a nice car, I wil always love older domestics, hate most new ones, but love the older ones. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

haha hmm i stand (i mean sit) corrected, but I am talking about 6 banger Camaraos and Mustangs, and plus they are pretty much White rice boys, all show no go, the mustang guy wants a saleen kit and a single silver wiper blade. I respect the owner of the Camarao though, he worked for his car and is still paying for it. The Mustang owner had his parents buy it for him.

Somewhere in the world, your wife will be posting to a message board...
"So yeah, I rolled some guy in a..." and her signature below will include: "SR20 powered 240sx" <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

TAs are a nice ride. I test drove one about that year a couple years ago and was fairly impressed. Comfortable, decent power, cumfy ride. The best thing about them is the mod potential:
GM parts are cheap as shit!! If I'm not mistaken that is a normaly asperated engine? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it is then you can add an Edlebrock mid-rise Intake for about 200 bucks, Holley 650cfm carb for 200 and headers for 300-1000 and POW an extra 100hp!! Of course your gas mileage goest to hell, but who cares?
here is a nice link for ya other domestic guys:

You should totally deck the TA out as a drifter and take the 240 to the drags <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>

I used to own a 82 TA 301 turbo... it sounded so cool. It say so low(stock) when I got out if felt like I was stepping up. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

anyway...........there's no denying that for the money, they are the best straight line cars money can buy. it's too bad that they're 300ft long, extremely archaic, and like all GM cars, cheaply made. one other positive is that you can trade a sack of nickels for some serious performance gear.
