Ive checked craigslist pretty much the only play i know to look and theyre too pricey for 90k miles + any advice on finding a decent LS1 in Socal ?

If you cant find anything listed for sale ,go hit up some of the better known DOMESTIC Hot rod shops. Depending on how much $$$$ you looking to spend(budget) theres a couple of options out there.

not on here, duh. try wrecking yards. camaros, firebirds, vettes. and so forth its quite plentiful. if all else fails get ford 302 aka 5.0

Junkyards, forums for the corresponding chassis. I mean it isn't that hard...
The motor was released in america. And everyone knows about it. Just ask around. You aren't going to have someone knock on your door offering a lS motor to you.

or you can for with the 5.3L V8, you can rev it alot higher than the 5.7L.
