thanks i'll post on there too. this thread was more to see who would be interested in this lip ...im seriously thinking of getting it made but i would either have to get my hands on an orginal lip to get a mold made or just make it from scratch. I dont really like any of the aero bumper lips and this is probably the best one i've ever seen.
so let me know guys if i get enough people i'll go ahead and get this done.

you should probably figure out what the fuck it is before you try to gather interest in selling it

interest, yes.
money when its made, no.
wants are bigger than the wallet.
it does look pretty simple though....although most likely it would be ideal to make in urethane vs. fg, but it would drive costs probably above desired price point for customers

^true... id have to look at what urathane would cost me but mostlikely it'll be in FG. Im getting one made regardles for my bumper since i hate all the other lips out there for the aero bumper. Like i said if this sparks enough interest i might just go ahead and make more while they're making mine.

looks like a zenki S13 pop up lip, modified to fit the aero. It is not OEM silvia nor bomex

youre right, the sides look like the zenki lip but the middle section looks like it was modified.. humm..... if thats the case this might make things a little easier.

Crazy.
For $600 bucks you could buy full kit + an extra bumper.

The biggest issue that i have with urethane parts is repairability. There is none. Fiberglass can easily be repaired. Nice though.

i still think $450 is alot but thats the cheapest i could find it, everything is overpriced Look at how much the NISMO bumpers go for G35's and those arent rare +they are FG... thats why i got a replica for $300 and it fit and looked just as good....

fiberglass can be repaired only if the peice didnt explode upon inpact like most bumpers do when oyu hit something. if its a minor curbage or something along those lines then yes fiberglass can be repaired.

if anyone knows what lip this is please let me know.

That's a snazzy pic there.
Hope you're not planning to use it to turn a profit, otherwise the copyright holder might have an issue with that.

Here's a hint: Look at the NOT-VERY-SUBTLE water mark in the corner of the pic. That happens to be the same person who posted aboiut it being an issue. Did you by any chance ask permission to use the pic?
Other than that, +1 on it being a modified Zenki S13 lip. If it was better modified, it might look better. Not really feeling the fitment as is.

That's because nobody was using his image for personal gain.
That image you're using is mine. I hold all rights to it, and beyond fair usage only *I* can determine how it may be used.
Seeing as how I'm a published photographer, I don't take unpaid commercial usage of my work lightly.
Yes, I understand it's one image, and that you're using it as an example, but it's still my work and my rights. If it were a matter of 'what lip is this' or 'hey check out the BMW caps on these longchamps', it wouldn't be a problem.
You're using that image in order to generate interest in a product for sale.
I have every right to seek compensation for it's usage, and any court would side with me. If I so chose, I could take you to court right now and win a minimal settlement (based on what I perceived the work's value to be and it's relationship with selling your product, etc).
Let me just cut to the chase - either you pay me, or you don't use the image to generate interest for/sell your lip. It may seem that I'm being a prick about this, but I'm doing it for two reasons.
First, nobody but me or those close to me will make any effort to prevent my copyright from being stolen. If I don't do it, almost nobody else will.
Second, if I allow this improper usage to persist, I'm setting a precedent for others to follow, and may as well just give my work away. Since I'm not content to shoot for free, this won't be happening.

It's not a Bomex. Bomex curves up in the center (at the bottom) whilst the other stays level.
