1989 240sx Fastback

Here's the scoop guys...I found a 1989 240sx fastback in my paper today for $1200.  Looks pretty clean, power everything, sun roof, and a 5spd.  Car has a 180k miles on it though.  You guys think this would be a good daily driver.  I'm planning on turning my 97 240 into a straight project car, and want some of the s13 fastback guys opinions.

Turned out to have 220k miles on it...engine mounts were shot, smoked like a piston ring was shot, suspension, well it seemed like it didn't have any.  The guy wants 1100 for it.  I told him I'd give him 700 cash...that's the top offer.  The thing was in real bad shape.  I would probably just end up buying a ka24de to do a swap with a new tranny.  It would cost around 1500 or so to bring it up to shape.  I would just turn it into a project car if I do get it.
