Um, dude.. what year?  Have you replaced the turbos yet? I hear they go bad not long after 100K

um...no, the 120k miles matience was not done, not to my knowledge.  However, the car is running excellent, and, no, there are no turbo problems.  If you wanna take a look, e-mail me, it is a sweet car, and i'm willing to deal.  I also have a 97 gsxr600 i need to sell. only 8300 miles. i'm trying to pick up an s14 style 240

you realize that its dangerous to run at 146K miles without the 120K maintenance done?  Unlike most other Nissan's that employ a timing chain, once the timing belt goes, there IS potential severe internal damage, especially since there's more stress on the engine parts from Stage 3 upgrades.  the worst part is you never know when it's gonna go.  would you know whether the 60K maintenance was even done?  also, are these original turbos?  how much boost are you seeing?  any noticeable sounds, whines, squeals, etc. from them?  Does it have the original clutch?  Any tranny grind at high RPM shifting? Does the suspension function fine, original adjustable shocks? How are the T/C rods? I would consider buying the car, at a reasonable price if you can provide more info.

ok, b18c1ek, i sent pics of my car to you, and you said you weren't intrested in it because of the body kit..... as for the matinence, i have done everything except the waterpump and tiiming belt, and if i found some one serious about the car, i will do it before i sell it. It still has the original shocks, but, you don't really need shocks unless htey stop working. other than needing an alignment, the suspension is in good shape.  ANY TAKERS?  Oh, the car is a 1990, will get the VIN up later tonight

If that timing belt has not been done, I would do it ASAP.  Those engines are not overhead clearance designs (pistons run into valves when belt breaks), and timing belts are supposed to be replaced every 70,000.  Did you buy it after 70,000?  If so, the timing belt was probably done.  However, changing a timing belt is hella easy, and it probably wouldn't take more than a couple hours.  And to check it would take a ratchet and 9 bolts or so.  I'm just saying, I wouldn't trust it if you think it's never been done, and if not, I wouldn't run it a second more until that's been done.

It's probably a nice car, but if you're taking it for a test drive and the engine seizes due to lack of maintenance, then you can't sell it before dumping a crapload to fix it.

true, true, plus, i work with team lexus, so i have axcess to every tool imaginable.  I'll probably get to that soon.  The car runs really well though......only had a few problems, just swapped out a tranny(old one dumped 1st gear) new one only has 62k miles on it.

It is suppose to be done every 60K miles.....I have never heard of the timing belts breaking although I have heard of the cam seals leaking onto the belt and causing them to slip.

if by non interference, you mean a very tight clearece,  then yes!  usually when the belt goes, the engine is screwed. you have to replcae valves, pistons, and more if you aren't lucky.  can be a disaster.
