hey, ill go straight to my problem. I was replacing my injectors and when i finished, i drove it and it was fine, no more leaking gas. The next day, i drove it to the post office and it was fine but the next time i started it, there was nothing. The interior electricals still work but the engine wont crank.

I tried to jump start it but still nothing. I measured the battery voltage and its at 12.5 volts and like 14 something when i have the jumper cables connected but it still wont crank. I then look more closely and found that i left a screwdriver on the fuse box and it fell between the harness and alternator.

Now im thinking the screwdriver touched a terminal on the alternator and grounded itself out and i blew a fuse. I check the fuses and they all seem fine. I search the forums and find people talking about fusible links and a 100A fuse.

Im thinking the fusible links are the things connected right off the positive terminal. Someone tell me if they are. And I cant find the 100A fuse. I look in the fuse/relay box by the battery and the highest is a 75A. Someone help!

take off the terminals and check out your wires.
