look at the distribution block... and that 2ga positive wire passing through next to the fuel line... any suggestion on how I can/should mount this?

That's a 4ga wire.

But you're right, it needs to go through the grommet, running it outside will allow it to rub on the firewall and eventually ground out. Personally I'd chuck the block altogether and bolt it all through with a ring inside the fusebox, out of sight.

i was planning on using the distribution box to do mine also.

you can always relocated the fuse boxes but thats a major pita. looks cleaner though..

r240god, what do you mean with a ring? i was asking my friend on opinions on battery relocation and he said he would connect the stock positive wire/starter/alternator with a fuse link case. i questioned him how since there are 3 wires? Please dont flame me! haha

Kenwood 6.5 components in the doors (made MDF adapter mount), no rear fill at the moment, and 2 memphis 12s in the hatch. All powered with an alpine MRV-1507 and an MRV-F400. Beast ass amps.

Crimp a ring terminal on the three wires originating from the battery terminal. Crimp one on the 4ga wire you have coming off the battery. Bolt it all together and tuck it inside the fusebox.
