So here's the deal, I have a 92 240sx that i'm looking to possibly sell. I've owned her for 2.5 years but i'm looking into something newer, so i'm looking to see about what I might be able to get if I do sell her, was looking for around 2500 though...
The Pros:
GP Sports Spec R exhaust (Have the stock exhaust still)
Tein HR coilovers (the rears are currently off the car because they started leaking)(The fronts have camber plates)
Megan Racing coilovers on the rear
S14 Front seats
Fairly new tires all around (205 55 15 Falken Ziex on the rear and 205 50 15 Kumos on the front)
Water pump replaced May 2006
Running Castrol Syntec for 2 years, changed every 3000 miles
Simple stereo system (CD Component speakers up front, 6x8 speakers in the rear)
Tanabe Front strut tower bar (Not on the car)
-----To clarify you will get 2 front coilovers and 4 rears
The Cons:
20x,xxx Miles on chasis (around 80,000 on motor) (also have another motor that is coming out of my friends car soon. I'm not sure what happened with that one but I think it spun a bearing)
Needs subframe bushings
Passenger side outer Tie rod is going
The previous owner kinda dragged the car in reverse down something.....:confused: never really figured it out. The fender, door, and rear quarter panel are messed up. Not horrible though. I do have a new fender and door for her, just have never gotten around to put them on. The damage does in no war affect the performance of the car, I've been driving her for 2.5 years like this with no problems.
The transmission grinds going into first gear (i have an extra transmission, but a bearing inside is shot and it rattles constantly so I put this on)
The check engine light is on. O2 sensor and egr function. I'm trying to find time to fix it but i'm backed up with work and my friends cars and don't have time. The CA Smog pretest failed on Nox but bairly so i'm confident that if I fix this it will pass CA Smog without a problem
I will try to get pics up tommorrow, but I don't have a digital cam (no not even on my phone) so I make no guarantees
Please keep in that i'm just testing waters here and am not in any hurry to sell her, and don't have too either, and after looking at the current market I'm not even sure if I can get what I want. I was looking to get about 2500 for her. But I'll be open to offersand lowballers will be ignored.
I'm actually trying to get away from the "240sx scene", i hate calling it that, so i'd like that whoever buys it takes everything with it. I have a truck and am willing help move everything for the buyer, and then you can sell it to make some of the money back.
