wow, those idential (if not worse) then megans and we've for the most part been bashin megans since there introduction (seach megan and you probibaly find pages upon pages for hellish flammage and others agreeing with me). dont even think about it, get STANCE coilovers at the least, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! megans = bs valving, kinda wimpy built, damping adjustment does next to nothing, just crap.
lock this shit now, im so sick of all this bs lately. damn tokyodrifters :duh:

Who's "we", and I dont see you testing a set out to see if they suck or not. I know a few VW guys who love thier NEXs, although there cars see more DD and less track. I think if your just looking to replace worn out shock/struts and springs maybe you should look at a set of Koni/AGX/Bilstein setup with a set of good springs like eibach.

Megans are the best bang-for-buck coilover. Alot of people rock em ,and don't say shit otherwise. The only folks that bash are the heresay, that go with the wagon.

i went from megans to stance, night and day difference. but then again stock to megan was night and day as well. just IMO if i could go back and do it all over again, id invest that $400 in sum TC rods and maybe a bushing kit or sum nice sways. to me, any component with moving parts is too important to cut corners on.

NEX huh.
Well. I have never used these coil overs. I do not know a single person who has used these coil overs.
But... At sema, i got to meet "golden apple corp" (http://www.1goldenapple.com). I was intrigued by their coil overs only because the strut/upright body was hexigonal. I asked them about the coil over kits. The first questions i asked was: "what type of valving do these employ?"
GAC:" I dont understand"
ME: "You know, the valving, to adjust the dampening, what type of valve is used"
GAC:" I dont know, maybe if you leave your card I can have one of our "tech guys" get in touch with you."
A couple days go by, i get a phone call:
Me:"Hi, rpsport, john how can i help?"
GAC:"Hi i was just following up with you from sema"
Me:" Oh awesome, so?"
GAC:"So, we just wanted to see how many coil overs you want to buy.."
Me:"Err no, i think i wanted to know how they were build first, so what type of valving do they employ?"
GAC:"Um.. i dont know, hold on, let me talk to the tech guy.."
I spend close to 20mins on hold.
Finally.
GAC:"The tech guy said you dont know what you are talking about, they dont use valves."
So... you really want nex's?
Im guessing they are probably purchased from one of the hundreads of chinese manufactures making "performance parts", repackaged and resold.
