Thats the same way I did my SR piping. I think it looks good after its cleaned up and polished... It looks like all of Signal Auto's piping.

how come you didnt use mandrel bend pipe? even with the multiple sections to make the bends the air flow isnt ganna be very smooth... budget maybe why?

because signal Auto dosent do that, nor Top Secret. If I was to go mendrel bent I would do the whole thing mendrel bent. its kinda pointless to Cut and weld. when U got a mendrel bent pipe right there.

The reason they do that is because titanium would just rip if they tried to bend it :)

Very creative, and neat! How'd the clearance be if you upgraded the radiator?

It is hard to tell if it is galvanized or aluminized tubing. Galvanized will suck to polish and to weld. Should not be that bad...Good work I like that look.

J's racing has mandrel bent titanuim exhaust systems available. (for the S2000). so i suppose it can be done.

Depending on the thickness, I'd imagine.

i had a koyo shit was too damn thick not even the 2" pipe cleared. so I traded my friend my koyo for his S14 radiator. i can;t picture clearance unless i hack my radiator support. (wich will do in the near future to ge tmy adiator back)

Nice work. It's always good to have potential boost leaks lessened.
Side note. Your tire is mounted backwards. But you probably already noticed that...

you can find a local place that polishes and have them do it.. its a dirty job and they should get it pronto because its not big for them, save you some major hassle time :-) there are bunch of places in socal that do this, check around.. eitherway it looks like its going to come out very nice! good job!

Looks nice! Nice job on a budget. Polishing stuff is always a bitch - it almost always ends up being more trouble than its worth.

thanks guys I will be modifying my piping later when I get a good welder. so I can just make a custom Intake manifold using just the stock runners. with probablya Q45 TB or something like that. but not in the near future. probably end up droping in a 26 instead.
Im a show off I could not resisthttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/FairladyZ32/newFMIC005.jpg

Screw grinding them down...they look sick just like that. Very industrial, if the engine bay looks like it could sever your Carotid...your done.

Nice, now that it's all done, wanna sell the kit? :) j/k I'd need to hack it all up to fit the HKS mani...
Crazy I just noticed after the other guy's comment that you did run the pipes a little different than "normal". I like how the hotpipe is tucked down a little.
Good work, what is next?
