I tried to search but still did not find the answer. I was messing with the fan controller cause i blew out the old one and got the variable power flexalite one. The car is trowing out white smoke constantly. I smelled it and it was kind of sweet so my first guess is antifreeze. Today was the only time when i pulled up to work and it stopped throwing out white smoke after an hour ride. The car idles at 1000K for some reason. It was just today that the idle did not drop to 850. The boost gauge usually read a couple mm closer to 0 on the 60mm greddy gauge. Now its a little further from 0 so i ruled out a vaccum leak because it would go closer to 0. I checked the oil and it is a little high, but from my oil change i accidently dumped a little too mutch, so now after 2 weeks its a mm over the full mark. The turbo i just put on this summer. Its a GT2871R. I would assume that if it was the head gasket, there would be water marks on the dip stick (bubbles) but there is none. Could it just be the 20 degree weather messing with my Z32 MAF and 550s.??? The car idles anywhere from 12.5 to 13.7 AFR so i doubt its unburnt gas. Is this normal?????

for sure do a compression test, that will give you a good idea if its the head gasket. i had a similar problem 2 years ago and everyone told me it was my head gasket so i ripped it apart and guess what, nope gasket looked brand new. Turned out that my coil packs were shot. I would say, clean your maf, check your coilpacks, and change your spark plugs. see if that helps.
