Now i got it welded on....theres a main vacum line for the line that comes off the TB and then a small nipple in the back? Where does that go to....cuz right now its got nothing on it adn im just getting surge and when it does go off its very faint.
I got my greddy type S in today and on the flange there is a orange seal. Does anyone know if that is supposed to be used somehow. All i can think of is cut a hole in my hotpipe and weld on the flange and as long as i get my welds good with no holes i should be good riht? http://photos-567.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v67/80/99/503587369/n503587369_22567_9536.jpg sorry guys, maby im stupid but this is the frist time ive gotten a fmic/bov kit so gimme a break! :)

I dont know what you mean about an orange seal (the only Greddy BOV I've installed is a RS for an Evo, and it was a kit specifically for the Evo) - if your hotpipe doesn't have a flange, you'll need to take it to a shop and have them weld a flange on. My Greddy hotpipe didn't have one, but it takes all of 10 minutes to cut the flange off my old hotpipe/hole-saw-bit a new hole in the Greddy hotpipe/weld the old flange on there. Do yourself a favor and blow out all the little metal shavings before welding the new flange.

Take the o-ring off, use a hole saw, 1" or something, whatever matches the flange, and dirll a hole in your IC piping so the flange will sit in it, weld around it. Simple...

^ read the top. ive got another problem but just didnt wanna start a nwe thread.
I believe that o-ring goes between the flang and bov. These type-s bov has dual springs. If your car doesn't have horse power higher than 300whp, then just take it apart and remove the smaller spring. I've done this for evo and srt4 plenty of times. Use the top nipple for the vac, leave the middle nipple alone. that's just a secondary source to open the bov earlier/stronger.
