After a while, plastic lips get cracks and chips and scrapes on them and can make your car look like crap instead of making them look good. I don't know how to fix the chips and scrapes or cracks, but I can tell you how to paint your lip back to that OEM goodness. All you really need is some soap and water and a can of Krylon Fusion spray paint (Satin Black). You have to use the Fusion brand because it bonds to the plastic, and it will NOT chip off. The Satin finish gives it the perfect Shine and is what makes it look OEM.

The first step is to remove your front lip and clean it up with some soap and water. I recommend using Dawn or other dish detergents because it removes wax and grease from the plastic.

Once your lip is clean and dry, you'll want to hang it or prop it on something so you can get to all areas of the lip with the paint. Now spray away following the directions on the can.

After it dries you'll have a lip that looks OEM fresh and will stay that way for a LONG time. Have fun!!

I'd say 15. I think it says 15 on most cans.

I just respray the spots that got scratched with spraypaint (Rustoleum Regal Red) once every two months or so.

There is no need to sand or primer when using the Fusion paint. It doesn't need it because the paint bonds to the plastic.

sand to smooth out chips/loose shavings, and "filling" primer to fill in all the tiny dents
