alright, i've searched and have found nothing, what do you think of these...they seem to be about 19lbs a piece
i would love to find them in 17x9...but only 18x9.5 from what i've found (+20) they would go on my s14...so yeah
i would do bronze(car is burgendy)
if anyone knows where to find these in the US...that would be great

I'd buy those and drift on the rim since they're cheaper than a set of Wanli tires.

i am 5 lug...and have alot of shit done...that supra thread was dumber than anything...i dont care if it was a joke...he needs to gtfo....and as for these wheels...for the price they are not bad...and i'd be running a 18x9.5 unless there nasty heavy
most tenzo's are gay as hell...but these have decent offsets and look pretty good imo...that or the dc-5's

In my opinion, these wheels had better be free or damned close to it, otherwise you're wasting your money.
Man up and spend the cash on wheels that are worth it.

Looks like tenzo might be trying to pick up on 5zigen success a little late in the game and is the stamping really on the face!? thats odd...

That is a decent size.
The wheels themselves... Whatever.

02-11-2007, 12:17 PM
well...i'm just lookin at them because yes...you can get them dirt cheap and i'll only get them if i can get a 17x9 +20 or less...but we'll see
i'm on a tight budget, so i cant kick 1300 right now for wheels

I lol'd.
If you're on a tight budget, just wait. Otherwise you'll have spent money you didn't necessarily want to spend.
You could also buy some used wheels and keep them in good enough shape to resell for the same price.

Ok, so flame me, but what is the big deal about buying those wheels? the offsets are decent and they are light enough to drift/track on....so whats the big deal? They don't even look terrible imo...i'm sincerely confused.
really its a simple formula
These wheels + You = happy?
then get them and fuck everyone else

well...its more like i have the money to buy spendy wheels, but its more like hmm...700 for a set, or 1200...or i could take that extra 500 and buy ruca's....or a small cage for the money, there smarter, but then again i am watching takumi and rb/memory fab for some used wheels, but not the best offsets and 99% of the time are staggared

They look to be in good sizes, but besides the fact they might not be made very well, you can get a set of another kind of wheel for 200$ a peice. I may get some 18s just for spare event wheels, if i can get em really cheap, like 100$ a peices...
Eh, they look ok since they are knockoffs of SSR Type C's but it's not like a few years ago where the only decent wheel that came in decent offset were FN's. Now you can get Enkei's and Work's for just a tiny bit more than what those Tenzo's would cost and let's be real what would you rather roll on Work's or Tenzo's.........
gotta240
02-11-2007, 03:35 PM
Blah, if those said work on them you guys would be sucking the spokes like like bronze little cocks.
by a little bit more you mean 600 a wheel vs 200 hmm.. yeah little bit more.
....Not all work/rays wheels are that expensive.
RPF1's, CR Kai's, XT7/XD9's, even the 1 piece cast Gram lights are around 300-325 a pop. The Tenzo's are more like 250 a pop for the 18's which are the only ones with decent size/offset. So when it's all done the difference for an entire set is only about 200-300 dollars. That's less than a decent set of tires.

People , lets get this straight. Its not that the wheels may look bad or not. Its the fact that Tenzo's are junk!
Your better off picking up a set of Rota's than getting Tenzo's and thats not saying much, lol.
Tenzo's come out of the same factory that Lenso's come out of in Thailand. While Lenso's and Tenzo's tend to be light, I have personally seen a broken one first hand! The way it broke showed extremely poor casting.
If you want to put your life in trust of poorly casted cheap ass wheels thats your business.
What people are trying to say is, do yourself a favor get a quality wheel thats made well so you are safe and not having one come apart in an accident and cause more damage and possible injury.

if you are 5 lug pick up some mb motoring. 150 bucks a piece. they dont look bad and come in great offsets. also have 2 styles.
OR you could get some hot wheels that everyone has. Those are 550 shipped. If you are 5 lug those are great options.
They mb motoring have been proven to be durable are pretty light and would be my choice if I was 5 lug.
DO EET. drop the tenzo shit.

yep. let the guy rock what he wants to rock.
but if you're really looking for an opinion, tenzo-r's just arent worth the money. go with lighter wheels from gram lights.

even though tenzo - r wheels are "cheap and looked down upon" i would rock the bronze dc-6
those wheels are heavy i think they are around 26 lbs. but they do look nice i rock them as beaters/daily driving.

lol at people calling MB Motorings "Atechs" so that they feel more JDM.
If they weighed around 22-24 lbs for the 18x9.5's and didn't explode on minor contact, i'd probably use them
they look ok
they're probably cheap
they're decent size
but i can't afford expensive wheels so that's just me

Buy whatever the fuck you want. "Spend more money" and "Tenzo's are junk"
These are stupid comments if you like them then do it. If some of you fuck sticks don't realize you sound like exotic car owners. "EWWW he drives a Toyota yuck. My Ferraghini/Lamborrari is better!" STFU let the man rock what he wants. All i see is a bunch of nutswingers. There is a word called budget you buy what you can afford. That is called smart! If you drift and track your car and beat the living shit out of it why buy rims that cost more than the whole chassis. Beat the snot out of them and replace with the same its called having disposable rims. Its better than dinging a set of Works cuz i would rather ding a set of Tenzo or MB's
