Hey guys, Im pretty new. I just bought this toyota silvia. I was at school talking about how I wanted to start drifting, and my autobody teacher told me he had a silvia, the car all the pro drifters use, and he would sell it to me. Its got the stock engine in it, no mods yet. This toyota can really haul for a stock car, however. My buddy who drives a civic told me to get the B18 for it, but i dont know if i should... I want to keep it front wheel drive.

Wow, I had to read that post about 4 times to make sure I wasn't just seeing things. I don't know if it's a joke or not, but since I'm in a good mood:

Those pictures are of a Toyota SUPRA, not a Nissan SILVIA.

Secondly, the Supra is already RWD!!

Thirdly, the B18 is a Honda engine!

Fourth, if you think that car is a Silvia and front wheel drive, you probably have no business drifting, at least until you learn more about it, and more about your car.

If that post was a joke, it's pretty funny :D

A toyota silvia is the car in my post. My friend has a B18 in his civic, and he drifts it, so that means its rear wheel drive right? I want to drift too so i guess ill swap to that since I cant with my stock engine.
Is there something i am missing?

your friend is a jackass. powersliding a fwd is a lot different than drifiting a rwd. i think your missing a goddamn brain.
