D-Max suspension

Hey guys, has anyone got their hands on D-max parts. I have access to get D-max arms and steering linkages for stupid cheap. Before I end up putting the money down, i'd like to know if anyone has first hand experiences with their parts.

I have the front lower tension rod from D-Max. Got it for pretty cheap too. I'm down for some more D-Max parts.

Like most other companies in Japan that are "smaller" they just purchase from a manufacturer overseas and color a different color.

Then sell rebadged.

Not that it's necessarily "bad" but eh use your discretion.

They have a coilover system out aswell, It looks like the same on Supermade sells. Here are the specs I found:

Yeah it's hard to tell from a picture, C-tune, Powertrix, SPL all look the same on a picture. It's when you have them in your hand and in front of your eyes is where you can see the difference. So basically if anyone here has actually seen these i'd like your input/review.

D-Max coilovers are either KTS or Stance.

I can't tell because I can't see the rear shock body length, which is the only difference between the two.

I thought they were made by the same company that makes the Megan's and all the others.

I don't think they are stance or KTS. My KTS's aren't dual camber adjustable and have different rear perches. Stance also uses a different rear perch.

but i cant justify the Dmax price tag on coilovers compared to CST price tag. i can tell yuo that ish right now

a friend just bought Dmax fenders
another friend had a dmax hood, and full aero on his R32

Its not bad shit, but its not great.
Price is right.
It seems as if fitment is getting better over the last year and a half for some reason

The only thing from D-Max really worth going after are the hoods. Great design and great fit. I've fit them to at least a dozen cars at this point and they're great. As stupid as it sounds my favorite part is the fact that they come with bolts built in so all you have to do is quickly thrown on four nuts. They also have nice and sturdy hood latches.

They have some unique aero (haven't seen knock offs of two of their kits as of yet) but like it was mentioned above they get it from overseas and the quality is pretty poor which is obviously reflected in the price. You get what you pay for.

If you're in Japan it's worth getting their suspension arms because they're cheap. In the US though just stick with Megan or whoever else sells the same knock-off stuff.

Their coilovers aren't in the same class as KTS and CST. They're fairly unimpressive and not at all durable. I've witnessed seals pissing after only a few trips to the track.

The fitment of their D1 Spec fenders seem to be hit and miss. I've bought a few fronts and rears and thought the quality was fine and had no problem getting them to fit nicely. At the same time I've seen them on other cars and the fitment is way off.

yerah the D1s that i fitted on a 180 that is getting painted were decent fitting. But hte fenders on an r32 that went all dmax, was horrible
as was rear bumper fitment.

As far as arms... Ikeya Formula is definetly good shit. If you can justify paying that much, unless you have hook-ups.
D-max is not bad either though.

I've Dmax front fender on my kouki s14 and the fitment was the worst thing I've seen on a car, I bought them like 1 year and half ago, I was excited about the price on their items and cause they look cool but after had the fender..mh..origin will be lot better..maybe like yokota say in the last time they could have improved quality..
