I just put in a Sparco Evo L (same as evo2) into my s13 (I'm about the same size as you: 6'2" 205). I got bride rails with it that the previous owner had modified to fit, but they didn't really fit in my car. He had welded tabs on the inside of the drivers' side rail to thereby extend the entire rail out when bolted up, but for whatever reason I couldn't get his newly drilled holes to line up with the car (could be due to a recently interior interior swap and the carpet not being as tight against the car as it is from the factory).
In any event, mounting it the way the previous owner of the bucket did ends up covering the release handle for the trunk/hatch. My key doesn't really work to the hatch, so that was unacceptable. No thanks.
I tried to flip left-side brackets around (like SPL does it to mount their wide bucket), straightened out the adjusting arm so it would clear the seat, and bootyfabbed a left rear bracket that went higher than the FG brackets, but mounting the seat in that manner required raising the rear of the seat up so you can clear the rail itself--the seat basically sits right on top of the rail that way. Not the way I wanted. Again, no thanks.
Now I'm just using a custom bracket that is non-adjustable and positions the seat pretty much as low as it will go. I can post up pics when I get home from work. I think this is probably the best option. I really wanted to keep the sliders, but it's just not practical when you don't have a jdm-sized seat. SPL does sell wide seat brackets (made by juran, I think) but you have to buy their seat to get them--they won't sell them separately.
