I'm running a single electric fan on my radiator. I have it wired up to it's own relay, fuse and switch; so I can just turn it off and on as I need it....
Before I start: Switch has 2 indicator lights
Red=Off (fan not running)
Green=On (fan running)
I'll explain it as clearly as I can;
In the last couple days it's been having a problem that's got me really stumped. BEFORE I try to turn it on; the red indicator light on the switch is on... which obviously means it has power. But as soon as I hit the switch to turn it on... it dies. I hear the relay click... and then nothing. And then no green or red light at all; so it has no power. But leave it sit for awhile...and the red light is back on; so it has power again. Hit the switch; and it happens all over......:rant: :rant:
I've tried everything I can think of. I checked the grounds and connections to battery etc., replaced the relay, fuse and switch. It's still doing it. So any suggestions from those of you who know electrical better than I would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
