i recently blew my head gasket ( suprisingly, right? ) as well as having trouble codes fo the egr and knock sensor.

my mechanic suggested that i try head gasket sealer thats like 15 bucks to fix the gasket. im wondering if anyone has had success or failure going this route? thanks. 15 bucks sure hell beats $400+ if it works.

Do not use it, I repeat do not use it at all, If you are going to re-build the engine or plan on actually replacing the head gasket. It mucks up your coolant system and bonds the head to the block in a way that is unrepairable in most cases. Only in dire circumastances would I use it. Like to make it another month till you can get a motorswap. :nono:
