Before you read any farther, you need to know that this S13 has a salvage title. I got the paper stamped today. The car was deemed a total loss after a very minor accident that I was in about 2 weeks ago. The car is very rebuildable, however, and could be a good project car, daily driver, or parts car for someone.
The basics:
1991 (S13) 240sx LE
Aztec Red
120,100 miles
5 speed swapped by me
Factory Black leather interior
All the SE trim- sunroof, SE wheels, power windows/locks
The car was given a fresh coat of paint before I bought it, and it shines up like a gem. Scroll to the bottom for pics I took after waxing the car this summer.
Extras:
B+M short shifter
New clutch as of 7/06 from when I did the 5 speed swap
New battery as of 8/06
Clear turn signals
The Damage:
The damage is mostly in the front (where I hit another car at about 10mph) and in the rear (where I was hit at about 15mph). The car runs and drives fine, it does not pull to one side or another. I am not a professional mechanic nor a body guy, but I feel like the damage is mostly cosmetic. The hood and front bumper got the worst damage, along with the right headlight. There is minor damage to the very front section of the passenger fender. In the rear the bumper is scratched up, and the center section between the lights is pushed in a little. The bumper seems to be slightly displaced. The hatch is completely undamaged and opens/closes as normal.
The car has the expected rust on the frame rails down low, but seems to be mostly free of the dreaded strut tower rust. I replaced the hatch this past summer because it had the rusty spoiler issue. It is currently the no-spoiler, no-wiper version with no rust.

Just to show the condition of the paint, take a look at how she looks after a wash. These pics are of course before the accident, but the paint condition is the same.

Price:
I have an offer of $500 for the car. I'm posting here to see if I can get more than that. Highest bidder will get her.
Keep in mind that this car does drive fine, as she did before the accident. The damage is mostly cosmetic, and the car has a number of parts worth more than the asking price of the car. A complete 5 speed swap goes for $400 easy, and a strong KA like this has can sell for $200 any day of the week. Not to mention the car has an expensive (and nice!) short shifter, black leather interior, and SE trim all around. This car has good value any way you look at it.
