I have CEL and I need to clear it to pass smog. I can't seem to get ride of it.
The mechanic said it was my knock sensor, I replaced that and it didn't clear.
My friend said the fact that I did not have a Crank Position Sensor would cause a CEL, I replaced that.
The OBDII reader at my sponsors shop will not read the ecu for some reason.
Is there another way to check it without a code reader?
Also, my back up lights are on in every gear but 5th, and my rev cuts at 5k if thats any kind of a clue to whats going on?
I tried searching but got nothing but unrelated stuff.
BTW Its an OBDII KA S14, and the CEL came on when I changed my clutch.
