SSR Professor SP1

How can I tell the difference between SSR Proffesor SP1 and Rota D2. Help ASAP. Can I get pictures of the inner barrel for SSR SP1

SSRs will have a sticker on them and/or SSR imprinted in the backside of one of the spokes etc, not really that hard to tell if you can get some good pics of the whole wheel and all the surfaces or look at them yourself

one very noticable difference is the rivetting on the work wheel covers all the way around as for the d2s, they stop at the spoke then continue after each spoke. and apart from a decal that say work.

Besides the stuff that people already posted... there are quite a few basic common sense methods to discerne the difference.

Aside from saying ROTA on the center cap and there being a huge price difference, D2s only come in crap sizes/offsets. A 30 second google search showed all of this and that they only come in three different sizes.
It should be excruciatingly clear which is which.

it's the face. rota d2's face is always flush with the outside of the wheel, for that oh so gay fake lip look. you'll be able to tell in person; the rota's just look like crap.

Rota quality aside. I think the D2 in 17x8.5 +20 is decent for 4-luggers considering the other options they have.

yeah i have a set of rota d2's they are nice for beater rims, you can easily tell just by looking the quality difference between the real work sp1's and d2's.

is the Rota actually a 3 piece wheel?
I mean my new 18x10 SSR SP1s have actual nuts and bolts holding the 3 pieces together and the inner barrel and outer barrel are two distinct colors/finishes.
not sure what teh Rota looks like in comparison but I bet there is a difference.

nope, no need to brag about my wheels. in searching for sp1 fitments on s14's I was going thru a lot of threads and guess I got into some older ones, sho shorry.

I had valid questions about the rotas because I have never seen them in person. so, thanks for the info and the pic too, damn theyre hideous, BLARF! eeeeeeew!
