unfortuantly this unit does not have a built in thermostat. its semi important, ive ran one for over a year along with a few of my friends without thermostats and we've never had any ill effects due to not running a thermostat in our oil coolers.

unfortunatly this unit does not have a built in thermostat.

a thermostat in an oil cooler is a nice feature to have while not letting the oil flow throught the cooler you can warm up your oil temps faster in a daily driven car. but me and a few of my friends have run oil coolers with no thermostats with no ill effects for years now. this unit is super nice and definetly great quality.
