1997 j30 vlsd question.

Ok i just went to pick and pull today and you know what a prestine 97 j30 was there. I knew that a j30 lsd will fit in a s13 but didn't know about the detail of a 1997 lsd. So i bought the lsd will out knowing that the 97 lsd may not fit in my car. I just search today I read about the difference in the pre 95 lsd and the 95/96 lsd. Also I read that the 97 lsd was changed and will not fit in a s13 but also read that it will fit. There wasn't much detail about the 97 lsd and still woundering if a 97 j30 lsd will fit into a 89 240. I've search for about 2 hours in 3 different forums and did not find the answer I need. Sorry about the long post.

Yea i know that but i also read that nissan changed it up a bit and it may not fit from what i read. I will still try to install it into my car but i still want to make sure it fits.
