O.K. i get in my car and my clutch pedal is in the right spot about level with my brake pedal. when i use my clutch and remove my foot it does not come back all the way (about halfway) and if i put my foot under the pedal and lift it up it will come back and i can use 1 more time before i have to do the samething. so basically everytime i use my clutch i have to lift up on pedal before i use it again. the one good thing about it is that my clutch still seems to work fine, it grabs fine, my pedal is just screwd!! does anyone know what this is??do i just need to bleed it or adjust it somehow, or is it something like my slave/master cylinder?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> please help!!thanks

I haven't bled the clutch on a 240, but when we bled the clutch on my friends eclipse, that was excatly what it was like. I had to sit in the car and pull the pedal back up everytime to pump the air out. I would assume that you might have a leak somewhere, look for fluid around the lines and stuff, then bleed the clutch. It should have a bleed nipple on the cylinder. Just keep bleeding untill the clutch feels good again. hope it works

Hey my first intelligent and helpful thing about cars i can say. how to bleed a clutch. All u do is open then bleed valve on the slave under the car(i belive its attached the passager side of tranny or close). press the clutch up and down till its empty fill it up the clutch fluid. open the bleed valve. press the clutch. close bleed valve. bring up the clutch. Keep doing this untill you get pressure
