Get the Peak Tranny mount, its cheap and stiff and works great. No more major slop in my shifting, feels solid. Just look at your stock one, it sucks....

I polyurethane filled my stock mounts. They work awesome. If you do it..make sure to let it harden all the way by waiting a few days.

Interior noise FTW!!1

+1 for the Peak Performance tranny mount!!! I have the race version in mine and before it kinda grinded a little when i would get on it and shift into second gear and it got rid of all that so smooth now.

The peak mount deletes the exhaust hanger, not cool unless you like to crack your manifold by the weight of the entire exhaust swinging under the car.

Nismo is like $40 anywhere and does just as good a job with the appropriate mounting points for the exhaust.

And to the original poster, there's only ONE(1) mount.

I got the SPL one, it was 80$

Huge improvement in shift feel over Cusco Engine Mounts and stock trans mount.

I got rid of my tranny mount exhaust hanger due to the pieces being fubared. I deduced that by upgrading the 4 standard exhaust mounts for the exhaust to Nismo hangers I increased the rigidity enough that I could remove it with no ill effects. It's been that way for about a year now and no problems.

Flex pipe helps that situation out, no cracks in my manifold yet. And I never used that mount, it never reached on any of my downpipes.

Plus a $1 trip to home depot and a drill can make you a nice little hanger.

True on both accounts above, but you have to remember we're dealing with 240 owners. A drill bit and 10 minutes of bracket making is way out of their league in most cases. So is stiffer hangers, because that requires more effort to install.

i have the peak performance street mount. i got it for like $50 i think. my stock mount was destroyed and a guy i know stocks the peak performance mounts right here in memphis. its pretty nice. a hell of a lot less slop. i'd like to see how the race mount performs tho.

No one I know uses the tranny mount exhaust hangar.

A polyurethane tranny mount is probably something that should be on your list to increase shifter feel along with a short shifter and a healthy tranny.

Nismo tranny mount is the best for daily/track setup. Get the motor mounts as well and you'll love it.

I have a Nismo transmission mount.
It works.

I'd like to get some Cusco engine mounts.

i have cusco motor mounts
and nismo transmission mount

engine is very firm, not rattle-y, and steering wheel has a slight rumble at idle

transmission feels great. and as russ said, nismo lets you keep the exhaust mount

ive had this setup for maybe 2 years? i used to be afraid of the stiff cusco mounts tearing the nismo's rubber, but its in top shape

have a nice day

Shift smoother, but there are more vibrations. I liked it.

Buy Peak Engine mounts, cheaper than kazama, about the same as cusco, and comes with two different bushings. Paired with peak trans mount great combo.

I have the nismo engine and tranny mounts, and they work great. Keeps the shifter from gyrating wildly too. I got a new rattle in my dash, but if you worry about rattles, then you shouldn't be driving a 13-18 year old entry level sports coupe to begin with.

so um

I use the Uras tranny mount (same as SPL)
and solid engine mounts

um...im selling my car. dont do it lol JKJKJK

honestly, get a gooooood tranny and engine mount combo (not nismo, thats for people who care about comfort)
It has improved my cotrol middrift a tad and no more wheel hop.
I love my setup
