Colts were pretty good with 3rd down conversions.....thats what made them closer to their FG's except Vinatieri missed one but most of them were successful TD's and FG's....Peyton played the book by the book

Yeah their D was tired as hell because they were on the field too much. The Colts had great control of the downs, I mean they had I think like over 80 offensive play's in the game! That’s nuts at one point of the game the Colts kept the ball out of the Bears offense hands for like almost 1 hr! I thing if the Bears would have been more aggressive with the blitz and put a little more pressure on Peyton, I think the game would have had a different outcome.

I had so much hope coming into the 4th, as the Bears were only down by 12. Hats off to the Indy defense creating costly turnovers for the Bears.

Good game and honestly the Bears did not deserve to win because the are pretty much mainly a defensive team and football is not won on defense alone. Grossman is not a Superbowl quality quarterback. Peyton Manning deserved this win. He is a good quarterback not the greatest but a very good one. He is also way better than Grossman. Colts also had way more yardage gained vs the Bears overall.
Anyways Chicago played well and gave it a good go. All in all it was a good Superbowl.
Now that the Manning and the colts got their Superbowl its done.
I don't see them coming back next year. There are teams on the Horizon that are very promising . No I do not want to see New England go back again either. They have won enough.

Tony Dungy knew they were working the D too hard, and he used it to their advantage- they kept using the short-run plays to make them work harder. That's another thing- they did a lot of running plays, which didn't utilize Manning as much as they did throughout the season. Also, this was Grossman's first year as a profile QB-he never had to deal with so much pressure. Manning has been a QB for how long? They both had a good game, it was a bad strategy for the Bears to go to the Super Bowl with, and that's it. You can't deny the phenomenal season they had.

BTW- the Bears had a great running game- they had to score somehow, right? That's how they dominated the NFC championship. (No crybabies talking about the 1st half safety either- someone fucked up somewhere, and that's how they won the game- by taking the advantage. Isn't that how all the teams play?)
