thats because carbon fiber is a weave and not a solid color my friend, and it would be more of a mix of masked layers if it were to be done

paint car black or grey, take small wire fence (liek grill on the wack kits ) with small weaving, and hold steady over car and paint with opposite color. Your whole car can be CF style

Ummm yeah i know that.....there is also paint that resembles the shade of grey/brown that makes up the color or processed CF, I'm not going for the 3D affect it has.

MMM CABRÔN! Haven't had that in some time.

Carbon fiber isn't a solid color.

In light it can change hues.

The request was to post the color on a car....so i'm not sure how i answered my own question by going to a paint shop?

Anyhow, the color i found is a bit darker than this, it'll look better with clear over as it is base clear.

Umm, I've seen that color before. It wasn't Cabron Fiber though, it was in a diaper when I saw it. Next time, do your own leg work first, than ask if you can't find anything.

I'd ask for pics of what kind of shit pile of a car someone who thinks carbon fiber is a solid color drives, but it would only end in tears.

That is actually a pretty good color, I have a coffee cup with a carbon fiber handle (autoclaved pre-preg, because thats how I roll) and the part where the carbon fabric is not close to the surface (IE more resin) is that color.

Why the hell would anyone want their car to look like it was solid carbon fiber unless he was a bonafide, dyed-in-the-wool ricer of epic, Erebuni-sporting proportions?

Lemme guess, you're gonna paint your hood and trunklid.
