Ive got a little problem. I have a Sr20 Blacktop with stock T25. When i hit boost i hear a ragid air sound, not a clean turbo spool sound like i used to hear. About 6 months ago it was making the same sound and turned i had problem with the turbo gaskets so I changed them. So i dont think its the same problem. I also thought it might be something loose like the turbo manifold or something but when i checked everything was still holding fast.

So my question is this. Is it possible that in the 6 month span my gaskets could have gone bad again? Could it be my turbo going bad? Is there anything else that would make a wierd sound when boosting?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Also i would have searched here but the searchs isnt working, and searching nico was no help.

Yes.

Your exaust gaskets are probobly bad.

You should have checked them (honestly) before coming on here and being like
"I am pretty sure its not that again"

but anywho

Make sure you have the stock but brackets they are stoppers that you hammer down on the edge of the nuts for the manifold-turbo flange meeting and keep them from backing off. Thread Lock wont work, it gets too hot. You could also try mechnanical locking nuts from McMaster Car, it uses an indented thread so it wont back of easy.
