it's just the new clutch... it releases at the bottom and isn't stiff cuz it's brand new.... The only time it's stiff is if it's a stage 2 or higher and if it's a high performance clutch..... If it doesn't feel right you can always adjust the clutch pedal but it's a bitch sometimes.

still got the clutch dampener line? if that gets air in it, good fucking luck.

Probably your issue there, its easily bypassed..you can either bend the line (carefully) or get a SS Braided line to bypass it. Then you only have to bleed it from the slave, not both.

also u can adjust the clutch pedel, by moving the nut back and forth on the threads where the master cylinder connects to the pedel. take a look and youll see what i mean

werd. do this. that little box is a pain in the ass. that bitch takes forever to bleed. your pedal will feel much better.

Replace the following:

* master cylinder with an OEM unit from the dealer
* slave cylinder with a Nismo unit
* all hardline, flexline, damper and loop with a Taka Motorsports braided line that goes straight from the master to the slave cylinder

Then bleed the slave cylinder and adjust the clutch pedal as per FSM.

Replace the following:

* slave cylinder with a Nismo unit

Don't forget to replace the pivot bolt with the nismo upgrade when you do this. Recommended cause it will crack from the higher pressure slave.

Definitely replace the pivot bolt at the same time you replace the clutch.

What other oem slave cylinders are good out there? I just replaced mine last October and it just died on me tonight on the freeway in traffic. :jerkit:
I'm looking at another oem replacement. This one is Beck/ Arnley $26 w/ a 1yr warranty where the others have only 3months at $10-$14. Or I can just get a Nissan unit for $36-40. And yes, I don't need a Nismo one at $150+...

Think about what you just said for a minute.

It may not be your slave cylinder at all. Replace the master and braided line and bleed the slave again. It should take you 10 seconds if you use the Taka line.

You're right right that I shouldn't be looking at oem replacement/ remanu. I'll just get a Nissan oem. Yes, it is my slave as it just spit out fluid on the road. I know it's not anything else. It's not the line, or master. I have no box as well. And I use a power bleeder. ;)

I'm just wondering how long the oem will last since I'm not sure their suppose to last.
