alarm issues

i have a clifford alarm (not sure which) and i was wondering how to hook it up so that the alarm is triggered when my trunk is opened. at this point my trunk can opened without disturbing the alarm. any way to solve this?

if you have a s14 the you can run a wire from the (+) alarm trigger to the trunk light. if it doesn't work the just pin the trunk. this site should help

what if it is an s13?

on s13's the wire is red. its a - trigger

Bingo, it's a negative trigger for both models, red wire at the light. If your S14 has the OE security you can also find the wire in the driver's kick panel or at the SECU.
