1993 KA24DE Engine/Tranny For Sale

This is from a fastback, w/ 100K miles. It was compression tested OK on all four cylinders, and the tranny still shifts smooth. I would recommend a complete tune-up after you get the engine b/c it has been sitting for about six months, and i am sure the fluids weren't changed before it was taken out of the car! First one to PayPal me $975 gets it shipped to any of the 48 states once the money enters my checking account!

This is not comming from me personally!  It is comming from a Junk Yard, and that is the best price they could give me!  I personally think it is a great price, concidering it cost $800 for me to send out a transmission swap to a fellow member, and that was just a Tranny/Driveshaft/center console/misc required parts!

yeah, its still quite a bit...  i mean, if someone needs it and can pay that much, cool, but i dont think id pay that much for it.  you said its a junk yard right?  well, you should be able to talk them down quite a bit.  every trip ive made there has been met with high prices, but you can usually work them down.  id try that out, dont take their 1st price b/c they'll try and rape you.  anyways, keep a look out and see if you can find some cheaper ones or talk them junkyard guys down.  im currently looking for another KA to start a KA-T project, so id be intrested if you could find something a bit cheaper.  keep us informed...
