i am painting my car do you think a bright red would look good ? and recomendations ? or any other color that would look good but i am leaning towards some kind of red if it will look decent thanks

I have always been partial to a dark blue, or glossy black. &nbsp;Red does always look good on the 240 though.

It's always best to get a color close to the original, so when you pop the hood on your gorgeous red car, you don't give away the secret by having a sage green engine bay. &nbsp;Some colors will work better than others when you mix and match but keep in mind there will be parts of the car that don't get painted, unless of course you're dropping $$$ and have panels and the engine removed. &nbsp;That's big time money and work.

Well, red is a great color there is no doubt. I've seen some great looking 240s in reds from Dark Cherry to Bright Fire Engine and they do look good.

The one thing to keep in mind is that red is also one of the colors people notice most: Including the POLICE. So if you keep your foot down like I do you may want to choose a color less obvious, like a dark blue or a pearl white (very nice look when kept clean)

ferrari red..........championship white.......BMW Silver.....NSX yellow.......there are lots of good colors to choose from.....

either way, have you tried buffing it out yet? cause if you haven't, you could potentially be wasting lots of money.

my cars original color is a pearly white or something around that but someone painted the car silver including the door jams but left the engine bay and inside the truck pearly white so i will probably get the car painted red and then mask off the interior take off the door panels and spray the doors and door jams red myself. i dont think the engine bay being pearly white would look terrible with red.

If you aer going white i say 3000gt pearl white. THat is a nice white if you can keep your car clean, body style wise. Otherwise dark cherry

Orange! then you can get a big wing, playstation inside with bumpin beats, electric turbo, NOS, ... better get 18inch wheels to. Get the color you want cracker head and not what other think you should get... OO ya you should get it painted white cause S13's look hella good white.

i want red but i thought i would get some peoples opinions who have seen the same car red maybe some ideas of a nice red before i paint it and be like gee this looks stupid. no need to go on like your in grade two...

any color you choose, make sure make it metallic looking... &nbsp;either from those flakes or just metallic looking..or both..
