About 6 months ago I went home to see the fam(6 hour drive eek). Well I went with my dad to a friends house that builds race car engine(rebuilding dads 81 TA turbo, my old/first car). Well I noticed in his office he just happened to have a sparco rev(blue) racing seat setting there in the plastic. At the time I didnt say anything cause its my dads friend not mine. Well old man came to visit me a couple weeks ago so I asked him about it and he said he would find out. So dad calls me and says he was going to build a rally car and has now decided not to and will sell me the seat for 150 bucks(sweet, never used either). He doesnt have mount brackets though.
Anyone know where to get 240sx specific floor mounting brackets..  not the sliders.

you wil most likely have to fab something as the floor pan is FAR from being flat.  I made a set of brackets (for a momo seat)out of angle iron, they are very irregular shaped but work great.

Any "universal" mounts will put the seat way too high.

I know you said you didn't want sliding rails, but Bride makes seat brackets specifically for a 240sx.  You may want to check them out.  Remember though if you do to get the PASSENGER seat rails for you car since they cater to RHD cars

It will never work, so I'll do you a favor and buy it off you for what you pay for it. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

The most cost effective way to do it is to adapt the stock system to work with the new seat. &nbsp; My guess is if the guy works on cars as much as it sounds, he could probably weld together some steel stock and fabricate something that will work for ya. &nbsp;Universal mounts won't work as it assumes the floor to be level, which is not the case with the catalytic converter hump under the seat.
